1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Clockile - Expense Tracker ("the app") at clockile.tomorrowly.co.za, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

Clockile is a personal expense tracking application that allows users to record their monthly income, create expense categories, and track individual expense items. The app is provided free of charge and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this app. By using Clockile you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app.

4. Your Account

You sign in using your Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and for all activity that occurs under your Clockile account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we determine that you have violated these Terms of Service.

5. Your Data

You retain full ownership of the expense data you enter into Clockile. We do not claim any rights over your data.

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter. Clockile does not provide financial advice and the information displayed in the app should not be relied upon as such.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the app or its infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the app.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the app.
  • Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Clockile available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The app may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by downtime.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Clockile is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the app will be error-free, secure, or fit for any particular purpose. Your use of the app is entirely at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Tomorrowly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of Clockile, including but not limited to loss of data or financial loss, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Third-Party Services

Clockile uses third-party services including Google OAuth for authentication and Supabase for data storage. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices of these third parties.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code comprising the Clockile app — excluding user-entered data — is the property of Tomorrowly and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without our prior written consent.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
